Inclusion and welcome all around
We believe that the emotional well-being of every person, adult or child, is essential in waiting areas and above all in Emergency Departments. We design welcoming and inclusive waiting rooms and areas, with entertainment spaces dedicated to the youngest. This helps patients and the parents of young patients manage anxiety, allowing them to cooperate more easily with the medical staff, who can then work more quickly and effectively.
Calibrated Furnishings
Safety, ergonomics and empathy
We carefully choose shapes and materials so that every piece of furniture is compatible with safety measures and with infection prevention and control protocols. We provide soft, colorful seating, individual or shared, for young and old alike, children’s games, colorful ceiling elements to control acoustic reverberation in the space, and furnishings with rounded, playful shapes to make waiting areas calmer, more welcoming and more empathetic.
Family friendly
Welcoming families and protecting health
We pay close attention to the needs of families with newborns and infants, which is why we set up waiting rooms and areas equipped with small dedicated breastfeeding corners. These spaces are a gesture of support for parenthood and of respect for the maternal role, and they protect infant health in the first thousand days of life. Breastfeeding is a right for everyone; providing qualified spaces to welcome it is a choice.
Favola+
Neuroprotective environment and sharing
We create wall illustrations with which to build FAVOLA+ stories as well, to be shared with the families of hospitalized children and with local organizations.
We pay particular attention to the choice of colors, which must stimulate the right emotions in patients: our illustrations are therapeutic and create a reassuring environment without sensory overload.
