Single and twin hospital cribs for newborns
MaBim is a hospital crib for term infants useful for safe co-sleeping during rooming-in and for transporting babies.
Totally transparent, for visual monitoring of newborns, the cradle flanks and surmounts the mattress of each bed, allowing the mother to pick up her child without rising in bed and sleep next to him, feeling his breath, without risk of crushing or falling for the baby.
The crib is also available in a MaBim Twins version.

MaBim and MaBim Twins hospital cribs for infants are CE-declared Medical Devices and easy to clean. Each crib is equipped with: fire-retardant, breathable, water-repellent and latex-free MaBy mattress pad; twin 100mm diameter wheels with dual-action brakes for total locking; additional safety strap for securing the crib to the bed, which prevents the infant from falling if the bed is accidentally moved.
Each MaBim hospital cradle can be accessorized with: name plate; storage shelf; shelf for Trendelenburg or Counter-Trendelenburg movement (single version only); transparent top cover, useful during transport of the infant; heated mattresses; phototherapy mats.

A crib for rooming-in and beyond
The MaBim cradle offers multiple functionalities: it is a cradle for co-sleeping in complete safety during rooming-in, it allows the newborn to be comfortably transported, it can be used with thermal mats to regulate newborn temperature, it allows the newborn to be monitored from a distance, it allows the use of lamps and PADs for phototherapy and machines to monitor the baby’s vital functions, and finally, appropriate perforations allow the passage of any cables or catheters without changing the aesthetic impact.
MaBim cradle can be placed on the left or right side of mom’s bed, it is stopped by the brakes of the full-lock wheels.
MaBim surmounts the mattress of each bed thanks to its variable height, so it has a small footprint inside the room: only 30cm!
Birth is a profound, fragile moment filled with mixed emotions: joy, anxiety, fear and hope. In this scenario, even objects – such as the newborn cradle – become part of the family experience. MaBim has an ergonomic design-which ensures safety, practicality, and functionality-but also emotional to generate safety, empathy, and strengthen the parent-child bond. It is a safe nest that protects and welcomes the infant, not just a functional container. Its design enhances the psychological approach to rooming-in; beauty is a therapeutic tool.
The cradle’s opening side resembles a heart; when opened, the heart forms the roof of a playhouse to protect the newborn from its surroundings, letting it enjoy a peaceful relationship with its mother.
The MaBim hospital crib offers maximum safety with full-lock twin wheel brakes, which prevent movement and rotation. In addition, MaBim is equipped with an additional safety belt to tie the cradle to the mother’s bed frame to prevent the cradle from tipping over if the bed is accidentally moved in height.
The MaBim bassinet has a contoured base for easy wheelchair access. With its fire-retardant and water-repellent mattress, the bassinet also allows wheelchair parents to use it as a changing table for changing their baby’s diapers.
MaBim is the only bassinet for safe co-sleeping during rooming-in that is also available in a twin version, MaBim Twins. The crib thus allows twins to continue the relationship started in the womb and mom to sleep face-to-face with both babies safely.
